Gamba is a stalwart of Glasgow’s dining experience and has a strong reputation as the best seafood restaurant in Glasgow with faultless service and a stylish but relaxing modern/classic décor.

Establised in 1998 by Derek Marshall, Derek’s love of cooking started when he was a young commis chef at The Fountain Restaurant in Glasgow. His drive to develop his talents took him to the Channel Islands, French Alps and Spain. He spent a year in Spain after leaving his position as Head Chef in Rogano, this was to enhance his knowledge in sourcing and cooking fish. Derek is committed to sourcing sustainable produce when possible. Our fish supplier Andy Bell of The Fish People is a huge help to Gamba sourcing sustainable seafood.

Gamba has recently become the first Glasgow restaurant to join the Sustainable Restaurant Association. This combined with our Bronze Environmental Business award, shows that Gamba is committed to reducing the carbon footprint of the company and still able to provide exquisite food in our beautifully refurbished restaurant.

 

Christmas Opening Hours

Monday to Saturday, 12pm til 2.30pm & 5pm till 10pm
Sunday, 5pm till 9pm
Gamba will be not be open on Sunday’s in January 2012.
